After ten years living in London, working at the UK's leading publishing houses, including Simon & Schuster, Little Brown Book Group and Bonnier Books, I decided to move back to the north, taking everything I’d learned about editing and publishing, to start my new career as a freelance editor. Now, I get to focus my time doing what I love: editing fiction, and helping writers everywhere reach their dreams of being published, sharing my insider knowledge about how the industry works.

In my career, I’ve edited everyone from up-and-coming debuts to international bestsellers, including Jenny Colgan, TM Logan, Chris Whitaker, Lynda La Plante, Heidi Swain, Santa Montefiore, Philippa Gregory, Paige Toon and many, many more. My editorial experience is vast and I have edited fiction across all the commercial genres, but my particular editorial specialties are romance, historical, crime and thriller.
